The fifth film adaptation of Murder
on the Orient Express – the most famous novel by Agatha Christie – has been released recently. If you love whodunnits
and if you love Agatha Christie´s stories, you are bound to watch the latest
adaptation of A. Christie´s classic.
This film has been directed by Kenneth Branagh who also plays the role of the
Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. I have posted the official trailer for the
film as well as the trailer for the 1974 film adaptation so that you can
compare both versions.

Just by having a look at both trailers, what conclusions can
you draw? What do both films have in common? As we are dealing with crime
stories and suspense, what kind of elements should a good trailer include to awaken
people´s interest?
