Casablanca´s 75th anniversary

Casablanca was premiered on Thanksgiving Day in 1942 and since then it has become an iconic film in the history of cinema. You may not have watched it but I´m sure you know the main actors in the film as well as its  beautiful theme song. If you happen to be one of those who still haven´t watched it but you are intriged by the story, I´ll offer you the synopsis that I have read these days in an American newspaper (www.csindy.com):
“Rick Blaine (Bogart) owns a nightclub in Vichy-controlled Casablanca, frequented by refugees desperate to escape German domination. Rick manages to remain uninvolved in the war raging across Europe and Northern Africa, but all that changes when Ilsa Lund (Bergman) walks through the front door of Rick's club. He must now choose between a life with the woman he loves and becoming the hero that both she and the world need”.
This film won three Oscar awards for best director (Michael Curtiz), best picture and adapted screenplay and – as everyone knows – Casablanca has some of the most memorable lines in the history of cinema.

I invite you to enjoy “As Times Goes By”, the theme song of the soundtrack of Casablanca.
